Two Minutes with Tony: Pride

Sometimes we don’t have enough words to accurately describe what we mean or how we feel. Take for example the word pride. It’s tricky because it can be both a noun and a verb.

It can be about the resonance of feeling good about oneself, or it can be the indicator of the downfall of greatness. Pride is a tricky subject.

I have always been fascinated with space. I enjoy thinking about how our solar system is like other scientific structures. For example, the earth orbits the sun and the sun orbits the center of our galaxy. And, on the surface this reminds me of the conceptual drawings of electrons circling the nucleus of an atom.

Laughter Erupted

Laughter and joy erupted at Pleasant Hill Academy in College Hill on Wednesday as the 6th grade launched rockets and the 4th grade experimented with a banana piano. Since September youth in 4th, 5th and 6th grade at Pleasant Hill have participated in 4-H Agri-Science in the City as an integrated part of their school day.
