ChickQuest: Let's Learn about Life

April 23, 2021 - 10:24am -- staubach.9@osu.edu

They are fluffy, they are cute, and they are part of the food system. Hamilton County ChickQuest is well underway with the first clutch of chicks finding their new home on Friday, April 23, 2021.

This spring more than 600 eggs were incubated, hatched, and cared for by students across Hamilton County. From the youth in the urban core to those in the far reaches of the county, every teacher shared the same story of wonder and excitement, frustration, and relief.

If you have never hatched an egg, it is not a terribly difficult process if you have the right equipment.
