The youth EFNEP program provides nutrition education to help children develop healthy eating patterns and skills in preparing nutritious meals and snacks. The youth EFNEP program emphasizes a variety of delivery modes for reaching youth, from traditional classroom settings and after-school programs during the school year to day camps and youth group activities during the summer. The youth curriculum emphasizes learning by experience and reflection, and is adaptable to a wide variety of educational settings.

Check out our FREE youth nutrition programs for youth in third through fifth grade. 
Third through fifth grade programs are held for seven weeks
Each of our hands-on lessons last approximately 45-60 minutes.
Lessons include: My Plate, Fruits and Vegetables, Food Safety and other topics. 

Food, Fitness and Fun, for thrid, fourth and fifth graders. *NEW*

*The six/seven lessons are flexible within the session to allow or holidays, vacation days and testing.
Schools we serve must have 51% or more free and reduced lunch students to qualify for program.

If more than one class per grade in your building would like to schedule the program, please have one teacher serve as the contact person to coordinate our visit.
