Join Hamilton County 4-H!

How to Join

  1. You can join 4-H at any time, but it's best to enroll in the fall or winter.  The enrollment deadline is March 1, so you must be enrolled by that date to participate in Hamilton County Community Fair activities.
  2. Review our clubs and find one that meets where and when it's best for your family.  All of our clubs complete a range of projects, but each club advisor will be able to tell you more information about the meetings, what their club member's interests are, and any activities or service projects they complete each year.
  3. Once you've selected a club, make sure you reach out to the club advisor so they can provide you with any information before your first meeting.

4-H Membership

There are two types of 4-H'ers in Hamilton County.  Youth aged 5 to 7, in kindergarten to second grade, are considered Cloverbuds and complete special activities with all our 4-H clubs. Click here to learn more about Cloverbuds.

Youth are eligible for membership in the 4-H club program when a child is at least age eight as of Jan. 1 of the current year and is enrolled in third grade.
