Lucy is a Program Assistant with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program (EFNEP). She has been teaching adults with limited income to achieve healthy lifestyles for themselves and their families for over 4 years. Lucy has partnered with schools, head starts, libraries, community centers, public housing, shelters, and health care providers to provide the program in Spanish and English. Her volunteering experience with the Hispanic community throughout the years has driven her passion for serving.

Lucy holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from UPR-Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
