While the staff of Hamilton County Extension spends every day giving back to their community, on Friday, December 15th the staff chose to commemorate the season by putting their normal duties on hold to learn about how others give back and contribute to their efforts. Volunteering at Matthew 25 Ministries provided the staff with an opportunity learn about how a multi-national non-profit serves those in need. The staff also enjoyed some valuable bonding time.

Sorting through the donated items, the staff were able to organize and push nearly 1000lbs of clothing, shoes, and wares to the next step in the donation and delivery process. After the volunteer experience, the staff was led on a tour of the Matthew 25 exhibit which outlines the work the organization has been doing for than 20 years.

After volunteering the staff stopped by the Firehouse Grill in Blue Ash to enjoy the local cuisine and celebrate the season. Enjoying each others company the staff played games and exchanged gifts.

Hamilton County Extension would like to extend a big thank you to the Hamilton County Commissioners and the community for their continued support of our work and our programs. As we enter 2018 we look forward to engaging with you and continuing to make Hamilton County a great place to live.
