We don't have to say it but, wow 2020- what a year! This months update covers a few important updates. Feel free to respond with any questions.

1.) Thank you for all that you do for Hamilton County. No one likes the hunter who flaunts their skills. A a volunteer you are not the kind of "hunter" who hoards their spoils, you are the kind who inspires, trains and prepares the tribe for success. 4-H will only grow through your hard work and love! Thank you for inspiring our youth through your passion. Your engagement is a selfless act of civic engagement!

2.) Calendar Update
  • November 15, 2020- A Tentative Calendar Released
  • November 23, 2020- Any recommendations or updates should be received by Extension Educator.
  • December 2, 2020- Advisory Committee will Review and Approve the Calendar (a living document, subject to change)
  • January 1, 2021- Calendar will go live on
3.)We Can’t Hold a Banquet in Person instead on:
  • January 17, 2021- Virtual Award Celebration and Hamilton County Watch Party.
  • A few short videos will highlight the hard work of our youth this year.
4.) Quick Updates
  • 4-H Online 2.0 roll out has been pushed back. I will be in touch about when that is ready.
  • Members and families will be receiving a 4-H Self-Assessment Survey to help in our Strategic Planning Process.
  • Hamilton County Fair is soliciting Jr. Fair Board Members. This is the Hamilton County Fair *not to be confused with the Hamilton County Community Fair

This has been a chaotic year. If you would like to write a letter of support for funding purposes please:
  • Address your letters to the Hamilton County Commissioners
  • Mail/Email them to Tony Staubach
  • I will electronically deliver all messages in December
  • Share personal stories and use first person narrative.
