The Ohio State University Extension's Legislative Luncheon was held on February 15th in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio legislators representing both the House and the Senate, or their aides, were on hand to speak with their constituents regarding Extension programming from all 88 counties. Hamilton County Extension Advisory Committee (EAC) delegates included Brad Bonham, Kevin Griffin, and Timothy Walker. Advisory members had the opportunity to share one-on-one Extension stories with State Senators Cecil Thomas and Louis Terhard, and House Representative Catherine Ingram. EAC members represent a broad base of local business, individuals from the private and public sector, school districts, and governmental offices.

Hamilton County Extension has recently moved to their new location located at 4210 Dane Avenue, in the community of Northside. The building is co-shared with Hamilton County Departmental Disability Services. Extension will host their state and district representatives in their new location in late spring, in which the public will be invited to attend an Open House.
