  4. Good Agricultural Practices Certification Training

    Presented by educators from Central State Extension and OSU Extension, in this program you will learn how GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification can benefit your specialty crop production by strengthening food safety practices and expanding your market. Certification and passing the GAP audit means producers are reducing the risk of foodborne illness originating from a farm. GAP certification can help open up new markets as it is often required by restaurants, retailers, school systems, and food aggregation distributors.
