Welcome Chef Pamela Tramble-Johnson
Chef Pamela Tramble-Johnson is our newest program assistant with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program (EFNEP) serving Hamilton County youth and adults from limited resource families. Chef Pamela has over 30 years of extensive experience in Food Service Management including federal government, local school districts and universities where she served as Director, Operations Manager, Consultant and District Chef among other roles. She is also the principal CEO and Founder of Princess Pamela's Party Cake Shoppe, specializing in Wedding and Designer Cakes.
Chef Pamela received her American Culinary Certificate (ACF1995-2017 Atlanta Arts Institute School Culinary Arts and Johnson & Wales University). She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management from Union Institute and University.
She is pleased that she has a chance reach the goal that she formed at the age of 11 years; "Once I become a Chef, I will give back to students and adults." Her goal is now being fulfilled and we are thrilled to have Pamela on the team!
Southwest Ohio Perennial School
Ohio State University Extension Clermont County will host the 30th Southwest Ohio Perennial School on April 11 at 9 a.m. at the Clermont County Fairground’s 4-H Hall, 1000 Locust Street, Owensville, OH.
The event will feature educational presentations with a tradeshow staffed by regional vendors and gardening organizations.
Topics this year will focus on local horticulture concerns and upcoming events. “Wildlife and your Landscape” Marne Titchenell, OSU Extension Wildlife Specialist; “Boxwoods and their Issues” Joe Boggs, OSU Extension Hamilton County; “Cicadas and your landscape” Curtis Young, OSU Extension Van Wert County; “Benefits of natives and trees for pollinators” Carrie Brown, OSU Extension Fairfield County; and “Weird Things Bugs Do” Ashley Kulhanek, OSU Extension Medina County.
Registration is due on or before April 1, 2024. Registration includes the program, continental breakfast, buffet lunch, refreshments, handouts, and door prize tickets. For additional inquiries, contact Meghan at 513-732-7070.

Ohio 4-H Youth Development Night at Great American Ball Park with the Reds
The 4-H programs of Hamilton, Warren, and Clermont counties are excited to be partnering with the Cincinnati Reds to support programs that will empower youth to lead for a lifetime! In 4-H, we believe in developing young people who are confident, hard-working, determined, responsible and compassionate.
On Friday, May 24th at the 7:10 pm game against the LA Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds will donate a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold through this link back to our organization! On this City Connect Friday, be sure to stick around for the Friday Night Fireworks! We hope to see you at the game in support of positive youth development in Southwest Ohio!
